Company Profile - Oven Baked Enamel Services |
|
In 1963 Dick Richey
Motors was formed in a small factory in George Rd, Blackburn employing
only 2 staff members. After two years the company expanded into a larger
and more prominent factory in Railway Avenue, Blackburn and increased
staff levels to 8. Observing changing
trends within the industry, Dick Richey made the decision to rationalise
and initiate changes within the business structure to become more
streamlined and specialised, by concentrating on a higher level of
expertise in the motor vehicle repair and re-furbishing industry. In 1980 the company
relocated to Molan Street, Ringwood under the present name of Oven Baked
Enamel Services Pty Ltd and installed sophisticated Swedish body
measuring systems, and the latest Two Pack down draught oven. With the
introduction of our Two Pack painting system it has enabled our painting
staff to refinish an accident damaged vehicle to the original factory
specifications. We now
employ 15 full time staff members. Our specialisation in
the Mazda range of vehicles has allowed us to extend our business to
create the MX5 Factory, which is the leading specialised MX5 repair,
servicing and spare parts facility in Australia. We specialise in a range of prestige vehicles including Mercedes Benz, Mazda, and many imported prestige and luxury vehicles. |
